Cremation Burial Options

Perhaps the most fundamental and personal decision when choosing cremation is a final resting place. Park Hill Cemetery has dedicated spaces specifically for cremated remains and offers a wide range of customizable options, including columbarium niches, private family columbariums, in-ground cremation graves and a scattering garden.
In-Ground Cremation-Only Lot
If you prefer the timeless beauty of an outdoor setting, a traditional grave site may be a suitable option. Like caskets, cremation urns can be accommodated in a grave.

In-ground cremation-only lot cost: $500

Cremation grave lots allow for a flat marker memorialization.

The cost of the flush marker is in addition to the lot.

Only flat markers are allowed in the cremation burial area.

Cremation specific burial lots only allow for one burial per space.

Columbarium Niche
A columbarium niche is a compartment within a columbarium that hold a person’s cremated remains. Park Hill Cemetery has several options to choose from.

Columbarium niche cost: $2,400 (includes engraving and placement of cremains.)

They are designed to hold one or two urns (please ask us about size requirements).

The cost for an urn is in addition to the niche.

Columbarium niches are an economical and practical choice.

They can be purchased by the family after the death of a loved one or can be purchased in advance.

Private Family Columbarium
Family columbariums are available in sizes that can hold the cremated remains of two or more persons. Available for placement on a monument lot in lieu of a monument, or on an estate lot.

Private family columbarium cost: $4,000 (includes engraving and placement of cremains.)

They are designed to hold up to four urns (please ask us about size requirements).

The cost of the urns are in addition to the niche.

The family columbarium can be customized with a certain style that evokes a familial theme. (Please note that additional customizations beyond the basic name/dates engravings are subject to extra costs.).

Scattering Garden
Park Hill Cemetery has a beautiful and peaceful designated area where you can release your loved ones remains back into nature. Families often choose to scatter a portion of their loved one’s remains in a cemetery scattering garden even if their loved one wished to be scattered in a personally meaningful location. That way, the scattering garden gives a family a permanent and accessible place to remember, reflect and share with future generations.
